performs as advertised Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
The Slipp-Nott performs exactly as advertised. Have had major problems with mast slippage using T2X rotator. QTH 2.5 miles from the ocean, heavy winds are not at all uncommon. The Slipp-Nott stops the rotation of the mast in the rotator very well. Not cheap, by a long-shot, but it does work well. Seems like the price is really pretty high for it, but when you've got the corner on the market, I guess that's what happens. 5.0 for utility; 4.0 for price.

Solved Ongoing Problem Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
For years I have put up with my antennas (first a TH6DXX, now a SteppIR Beam) windmilling several to several tens of degrees on the tower's mast in high winds. Last November after a particularly nasty wind storm, I broke down and ordered a pair of Slipp-Nott brackets: one for the rotator-to-mast junction and one for the beam-to-mast junction. Installation was straightforward.

Last night we had strong winds again and for the first time the antenna system experienced zero change in azimuth!

Highly recommended.

Nice Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Good instructions, great support. Gives you like 90% grasping of a mast. Ive had problems for years with the wind turning the beam when I didnt want to. This fixes it

Kudos to Roger, job well done.
