Not bad, not great Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Decent weather radio. Seems to pick up the khz tone from the NOAA weather transmitters as well as the SAME data burst.

Unfortunately, the clock loses about a two minutes a month. Not terrible, but it's also a pain to set the time. And it's just weird since, c'mon, how many digital clocks are on the nose these days? My $10 Sony clock radio keeps perfect time. So after a few months you'll find it running 10 minutes behind and will have to reset.

Also, there's a well-documented glitch where every once in awhile all three warning lights will start flashing and keep flashing. You have to remove the batteries, unplug the unit, leave it unplugged for several minutes or longer, then set it all up again. A pain.

And, I pried the large clear plastic protective faceplate off because its shiny reflection made the unit difficult to read in the daytime.

Overall the radio part works well, the clock part is iffy. Its 2 daily alarms are difficult to set, you have to hold certain small buttons down for X seconds, then press other buttons to set the time, then press even more buttons to save the alarm. Pretty bad. The user interface needs lots of work.

Nice WX radio Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a very nice weather radio. It has a large easy-to-read display, it works as it should, and is really easy to set up (unlike some of the junk Radio Shack sells).
