Review Summary For : OptiBeam OB4020 (high performing interlaced duo monobander)
Reviews: 3MSRP: 4,500
Description:
Description: The OB4020 consists of two interlaced monobanders with separate feed points:
-> 3el on 40m with high Q coil loaded elements
-> 5el wide spaced full sized OWA design on 20m
The mechanical construction is extra heavy duty (extremely stirdy 15.00 meters = 49.2 foot long square boom / trussed solid 40m elements / thick diameter 20m elements)
The 40 and 20m Yagi for the ambitious contester and the OM with extremely high demands.
Product is in production

Great antenna! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Very good quality of this antenna, it works as two monobands for 40 and 20m.
The parts is ready for heavy weather, and it has a fine construction with many details that I only see in optibeam antennas.
SWR is ok as is wrote in the manual, with nice wideband, in 20m is flat all the band, and 40m 150KHz with 1.5 in extremes.
Awesome radiation pattern, F/B and F/S.

Excellent in all respects Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Robust construction and excellent performance. DF2BO spent a great deal of time evaluating various stacking schemes for us. Custom-fabricated boom-to-tower plates fit perfectly. These antennas survived lots of abuse getting put up and a tropical storm that downed many trees in the area. SWR curves as specified after sweeping with the AIM4170.

WONDERFULL Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I HAVE HAD THE OB4020 UP AT 80 FT NEARLY TWO YEARS NOW AND I AM STILL 100% HAPPY WITH THE PERFORMANCE AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE OPTIBEAM.
THE ANTENNAE HAS SURVIVED MANY GALES AND ONE 90 MPH STORM.WE ARE IN A VERY EXPOSED LOCATION AT 725 FT ASL BUT THE ANTENNAE TAKES EVERYTHING IN ITS STRIDE.
THE CONSTRUCTION IS THE BEST I'VE SEEN AND THE WORKMANSHIP FIRST CLASS. THE PERFORMANCE IS SUPERB AND THE ELEMENTS EASILY ADJUSTED FOR THE NEW SECTION OF THE 40 MTR BAND.
OVERALL IT DESERVES A 5 OUT OF 5 IN ALL RESPECTS.
