Not fancy, just reliable Time Owned: more than 12 months.
been using this controller since Charlie released it, Bullet proof, no fuss, no muss,
have used most of the others, bar AM-COM,
there isn't a Perfect AUTOMATIC unit available, but this, as a basic counter, is extremely robust and reliable.
cheers

It just works! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Purchased this controller used in a package deal with a 5/80 Hi-Q antenna. Installed acording to Charlie's instructions and the system works great. during Field day made numerous QSL's on 15 meters with a 50 watt Scout. Charlie treats me like a valued customer, even though I purchased my antenna used.

This Controller is Ham friendly! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This controller allow you to install it and work it right out the box! Its operation is K.I.S.S.(Keep it Simple Stupid) Which is what you need while on the move or changing bands. Just set it up initially and Zero out the counter, make a note of your targeted bands range count, adjust as needed and your on the air! Charlie really thought about this device when he designed this controller. A great product, simple to use and cosmetically acceptable!

SImplicity at it's best!!!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I tried another controller, and after more than 3 months trying to get it set up on 2 different trucks, I gave up, and decided to buy Charlie's DC Controller. With minimal instruction from Charlie, on winding chokes and wrapping snap-on ferrite beads, I spent less than an hour, installing the antenna and controller, from square one, and it worked FLAWLESSLY from the moment I installed it.
If you are interested in mobile HF, ALWAYS look at Hi-Q products first, and last. You will not want anything else. Charlie's customer service is outstanding, he stands behind his product, like no other manufacturer in amateur radio today, and is an all around great guy to deal with.
As far as this controller is concerned, it is simple, and works FLAWLESS. If you want it to work right, from the start, this is the controller you want.
