Rare ahead of its time receiver Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I picked one up from e-bay and have been surprised by it. It seems like a unique receiver and is built very heavy. The only electrical problem I have found was a bad transistor in the S-meter. The receiver seems to have nice audio listening to AM broadcast stations, and turning the selectivity down to 2.1Khz makes it good on SSB. The dial pointer seems to be the weakest point on it so far - for such a heavily built unit it seems kind of flimsy. And finding directions for aligning the PLL and PTO has proven difficult, though hopefully I can get that worked out. If anyone has any info on this old radio on alignment, let me know.

Rare bird Time Owned: more than 12 months.
A really nice 60's vintage receiver that sports general coverage, good sensitivity and some unique technology for the time (wadley loop, PLL circuit). Anyone else have one of these?
