Great Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have had this little unit for a couple of weeks now and have to say it works like a dream. The unit has great audio and it works great as a portable unit. I work in a remote location and its nice to be able to take it with me and check into the IRLP nets. The Echo Link works good as well. I am presently using the UHF radio in the unit and amazed how good the audio is both receive and transmit.

I called Mark a couple of times to ask a few questions and he responded quickly so the customer service is great. Overall I am satisfied.

Disappointed with service and quality Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought the micro-node AE in December of 2017. Within a couple of weeks, I noticed that the SMA connector was loose. I emailed micro-node and I got a call back promptly. They offered to send me a new connector, or send it back. I did the repair myself. In February, the node went deaf. I contacted them once again and they said to send it to them for evaluation. I sent it back and they have had it for three weeks with no response. I have emailed several times and never heard anything back from them. In addition, the receive audio quality was never even close to a Pi and URIx combination. Even when I connected the node to an external transceiver. So, at this point, I don't even have the node (that was dead anyway) and Micro - Node isn't responding to me.

A conplete wonder in a box Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have had my Micro Node for a little over a week now & really have to say if it had not of been for Mark that gave me so much help & encouragement it would have went back after my struggles that through the patience of Jobe & total understanding of my cable internet off brand router that I wasn't able to ID, well I must say Mark is without a genius as for my book with his wonderful product & outstanding helpfulness. A very talented fellow ham indeed. I have been very successful in setting it up after all the help from Mark & now have really been enjoying it. I originally was considering a build your own with a Raspberry but so thankful that several ham friends of mine suggested I go with the Micro Node that Mark has, and believe me it was sure worth the small wait time. I really don't know of any amateur related product that would even come close to the customer service & help I have received. Harold W2HRin Grants Pass, OR>

Outstanding Product Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was considering an IRLP node of my own for awhile. I did not want the hassle of having another computer, misc cables, etc. I researched options and I found out about the Nano Node Minature IRLP Node system from Micro Node International out of Nevada.
An American owned and operated company.

It is a complete IRLP/EchoLink Package.
The entire unit including The 0.2 Watt Radio is just 5" x 3" x 1.7".
Front Panel Color TFT Touch Screen Display Allows Setting Of Node Options Plus Monitor And Control The Node Locally.
Any Web Browser Can Be Used To Set Node Options Plus Monitor And Control The Node From Anywhere On The Internet.
It Can Be Used With The Built In Programmable 430 to 450Mhz 0.2 Watt Simplex FM Transceiver Or External Radio.
EchoLink System Software Is Installed And Ready For Use.
Operates From A 7-18VDC 300-400ma Power Source. Ideal For Mobile Or Portable Operation.

I am using a Yaesu FT-7900 for the external radio and it works great. I am not using the Echolink option.

I had a few questions about the system so I called, I got Mark the Owner who was more then helpful, he answered all of my questions and I then decided to order one. I had to call Mark back a few days later and ask him to hold off on sending it out due to a Hurricane that was heading right for my QTH, no problem he said just call me when you want it sent out. A few days after the Hurricane past and I still had a home to go to I called Mark and he sent it out, I received it 3 days later. I made a valiant attempt to set it up all on my own but I ran into a few problems with my router. I called Mark and left an message for him, he called me back a short time later, he guided me as best he could over the telephone but he wanted to be 100% certain that it would be setup correctly so he had me Skype him so he could see my setup screen, after a short period it was configured properly, tested and working great. I asked Mark a few more questions about the system and he was more then happy to answer them completely for me.
Mark told me to feel free to call him anytime with any questions I may have about the system

The Micro Node IRLP system is ahead of it's time.
It works exactly as it is described 100%. It is a joy to use, and Mark has the patience of a Saint, he is a professional who takes the time to develop a great IRLP system, answers all question you may have on it and takes the time to assist you in setting it up correctly no matter what your level of knowledge of the IRLP system is.

Thanks Mark for a great IRLP system and all of your help!!

Well Engineered! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Ran an IRLP simplex node using an ancient PII 400Mhz PC for about 6 years. It was time to replace the node with something easier to maintain, operate and program. Thought about the Micro Node for quite sometime before I decided to go for it at Dayton this year. Glad I did! The customer support is top notch, Mark never failed to provide any and all info I required. If you enjoy IRLP and you are somewhat Linux challenged then this is the route to take. Highly recommended!

A great product, especialy for the traveler Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
It is very well constructed and the power supply in the unit supports the 12 volts for GPS Antenna and the Cradlepoint router that I use. Software updates work smoothly and the support of the product is outstanding. I am a full time RV'er, so I use it with a air-card/Cradlepoint router connected to Icom 880H with a dummy load. I use this radio as it gives me the flexibitly of use with a regular repeater, simplex or D-Star. If used in a automobile it has a seperate wire for making the unit able to be powered down with a switched ingition or with other switched items.

The owners manual is very condensed, so understanding of all options takes a little time.

I believe this to be the most reliable IRLP connection method because of durable construction, connectabiity, size of unit, and options, such as real time APRS updating and IRLP connection scheduling. The manufacture/support group goes out of their way to insure that everything works right the first time, which is a rewarding product experience.
