WEll my experience with mosley 33jr , has been great , it seems to preform just fine , added the warc feature about 5 yrs ago . no complaints here , it is a small foot print antenna , that seems to hold its own in pileups . id do it all over again in a hear beat

Great antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought my TA-33jr used for $50Cdn about 8 years ago. I've taken it down once in 8 years to do maintenance and it works away year after year with out a problem. Of all the yagi's I've had over the years this one has gone way beyond it's normal life expectancy. It was old when I bought it and it's even older now. But it works like a charm. Have made contacts all over the globe on it with great signal reports. This is the best antenna I've owned since I started in the hobby 42 years ago. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Replaced the Antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Had the TA-33JR WARC for 7 years, was up and down off the tower at least 4 times for repairs. Trap caps cracked, replaced. Antenna elements would not stay horizontal; problem was due to Mosley only using two clamps instead of four to secure boom to mast clamp. Provisions for four where made however when I contacted Mosley to find out what happened to the other two, they indicated that two was enough. The antenna continued to flip back and forth like a teeter-totter. Performance on 10 and 12m was great, 15 and 17 OK, 20 horrible. Replaced the antenna with a Tennadyne LPDA, no more spinning with superior performance.

Don’t waste your money on trapped antennas especially this one.

Udate! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Per my review with installation of the Mosley TA-33jrWARC last spring, the antenna has held up well in northern Michigan. My QTH is on top of a hill at 1450 feet. The antenna is above the surrounding tree line, thus fully out in the elements. Ice storms have come and gone. Winter winds of 70+ mph with gusts has not damaged this antenna. I even had a guy wire in the worst storm fail, but not the antenna and thankfully, the roof mounted tower. The elements and boom have held up to a lot of ice loading. This is a well constructed antenna!

I purchased a Mosley TA-33 jr WARC beam in April of 2000. The assembly was simple once I studied the plans. In fact, the assembly of the parts are color coded. I installed the compact beam (12 foot boom) on a roof mounted tower at approximately 30 feet. The antenna SWR on all bands is excellent, in fact, well under 2 to 1 at band edges and under 1.2 to 1 at center of frequency. I was considering the Cushcraft MA5B, but was concerned with the high winds at my QTH. Indeed, the Mosley is well constructed and offers higher gain on 20, 15 and 10 meters. The Mosley is rated at 1200 watts pep, however a higher power version is available. For a somewhat larger beam antenna than the Cushcraft MA5B, I feel the approximate $130 difference was well spent.
