Consider the source? Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I got a LaCrosse unit when AES was selling them as a gift for someone. Made a monkey out of me. Some of the remote stuff worked but the windspeed never worked right. The thing rotated just sent either very low speeds or nothing. User went to alot of trouble to mount the thing and it was well out of reach for much messing with. If someone makes a good wireless station that does not cost as much as a new HF rig, I would be interested. But the giftee would probably be wary of anything like that, now.

Terrible service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Purchased this piece of junk at BJ Wholesale. Have always had problems with communication between units. Stopped working at all. Will not communicate. Called service all they state is batteries, batteries, batteries. I have tried new batteries many times. Don't bother with any garbage La Crosse makes. Their support is non support and their equipment is pure junk.

Stay away from La Crosse products. First I had problems with the remote temperature sensor reading 20 deg high. I then had and still have problems with the rain sensor communicating. I have called for support and it is very frustrating. They always blame the batteries. There is never anything wrong with their products. Do your self a favor stay away from the garbage they sell the public.

Worthless, run away Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
These people don't know much. Not how to make a quality product or know what service means. Run as far as you can from La Cross Tech products. Other than resetting units and testing new batteries on a multi meter, they have zero expertise and tell you to buy replacement parts from an independent wholesaler. This is a sorry bunch of trash.

Cheaply Made Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
The rain sensor never was close to being accurate. Finally, quit using it.

The wind sensor was never accurate and the first high wind seperated the sensor from the bracket and totally destroyed the cups and sensor.

La Crosse will not service their product when out of warranty. They send you to a vendor who purchases parts for resale. The parts are very expensive.
Very sorry I purchased this product.

Total Garbage! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Rain gauge never worked reliably and when it did work the readings were total nonsense. Wind speed/direction worked at times but not well then died. Outside temp and humidity were ok for awhile then they quit. LaCrosse insists battery problems. Put best batteries you can buy in and they last for 2 months. Then the awful reset procedure!!! Batteries in remotes first, then base unit. It may or may not work after that. Leave set for a day try again. Website instructs to press keys at least 20 times to drain energy (I am guessing capacitors to bleed down) for it to work. Found better of waiting 24 hours no batteries try again. Now remote wind speed/direction sensor and temp/humidity quit. Finally threw piece of garbage in the trash where it belongs!! BUYER BEWARE!!!

Junk Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
It lasted a month and the remote rain gauge quit working. Cleaned the battery contacts and it gave all sorts of crazy readings. Not reliable. It rained for a week and the gauge showed zero.

The remote temperature/wind speed sensor died last week. No information on the website.

Hard to program and move around in the menus.

Never again
