Good charger, crummy physical layout Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
WHat can you say about battery chargers? They work or they don't right. Well, ALMOST right.

This charger does a good job, but some absolute MORON designed the case. There is no other way to explain the fact that the batteries, rather than being in a row (like just about every other AA-cell charger in the world), are situated around the outer edge of the charger, one on each side!

This means that, each and every time you use it, you have to figure out not only which end of the battery is positive, you have to also figure out which end of the charger slot to put the positive in. The one thing they did right was to make it so that if the battery isn't in the right way, there is no completed circuit.

With so many other chargers out there, I wouldn't own this one except that it came with a radio that I bought.
