It Works! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.

Finally I can remotely control my antennas thanks to PstRotator. I have a Prosistel D and a four elements Steppir in a remote site and I have tried a lot of solutions without any success.

Finally I have discovered the "Pstrotator". I run Pstrotator as "TCP-Client” to control my antennas over internet. The software include a Steppir SDA-100 control option that works flawless with the old Steppir controller.

The hardware solution was hard to find, I have tried a couple of TCP to RS232 converters, but the best one was an old 1992 W&T Equipment "Com-Server Display", purchased used on ebay. This one has two RS232 ports, one for the rotor control and another one for the steppir.

The YO3DMU is an amazing person, he always was available (even at weekends) helping me to find a solution for my problem. Till now the solution is working without a glitch, alone or connected to "win-test" software log.
Thank You Codrut!

Superb pgm & service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I rarely rate anything this good, but this ham has written some wonderful software. Not only that, but I wanted it to work with my light weight 3 wire rotor that used the Channel Master control unit with Infra Red remote control. He neatly and quickly added a rotor controller to his list that would work via a USB-UIRT box. It works PERFECTLY with all of the great features of the original PstRotator! Service like that is so rare to find these days. This ham is wonderful. VE3ETK

Works well with Win-Test instead of wtRotators Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I use PstRotatorAz with an ERC interface and a T2X rotator.

I chose this program because Win-Test were some difficulties to work with wtRotators, probably because of my USB to serial converter.

With PstRotatorAz, Win-Test works perfectly and I can use "Ctrl F12" or "Alt F12" to rotate the antenna from the contest log. A reduced PstRotatorAz window stay on top of Win-Test and lets you know the antenna position.

Great program with great service.

Top product - Top support Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Having purchased a new Yaesu rotator and an ERC-R interface I looked around for a suitable program to drive it. I was fortunate in picking PstRotatorAz.

I had a small issue using the program with N1MM, however with Codrut's great support the problem was solved.

Not only does the software do all I want and more, but it is regularly being updated and the support given is second to none.

Great Program, Great Integration, Superb Support Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I needed a method to control my AlfaSpid rotor from Writelog. After a bit of searching, PstRotator came up as a possible solution. It turns out that I use PstRotator standalone quite a bit. It works as advertised; it integrates with several of my logging programs well, and the QRZ lookup is invaluable to point to the correct azimuth for VHF stations in particular, and HF stations when needed. There are many other features that make this a tool that is launched anytime the rig is on. As to support, Codrut has been very responsive. The program itself has worked well, the support came from an enhancement request I made. In less than a week, a new version was released with my request added to the program. Highly recommended.

Reliable program Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have been using this program for a couple of years now, and have found it to be very reliable. One time I had a problem, and the author got with me with on my computer and we found the problem, which was corrected immediately. I wouldn't operate in a contest without it.
I highly recommend it.

PstRotator and ZL1BPU EXCELLANT Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have been using PstRotator with the ZL1BPU interface I built for an old Yaesu KR-400 rotator. The KR-400 rotator was extremely popular many years ago but has none of the auto features. The ZL1BPU interface (a simple pcb) and PstRotator have brought an old rotator (with many years of life left in it) up to date with modern features.

Well done to ZL1BPU and YO3DMU.

The trial software gave me plenty of time testing the rotator and interface and I only purchased when I was completely happy

Superb ! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I was struggling to get my ARSwin controlled Create and Yaesu rotators remote operated using hamradio deluxe.

I posted a question on the forum, and the author YO3DMU of this software replied that he tested it using this software and it worked.

Immediately tried the free demo (time limited 10 minutes) and it worked.

It is great value for money at 15 € / 21 $ and it works flawlessly.

Thanks YO3DMU !!!!

Excellent rotator control program Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
PstRotator and PstRotatorAz are the only rotator control programs I have found that work consistently and predictably. Support by the developer is the best I have found anywhere, and he has made many modifications specifically for my radio astronomy applications, such as celestial tracking.

I run two instances of PstRotatorAz, each controlling an MDS RC1-G controller and Yaseau G450-A rotator. One is for an HF log periodic antenna and the other for a VHF/UHF log periodic antenna. Each RC1-G is connected to the observatory LAN using B&B Electronics ESP901 Ethernet-serial servers and virtual COM port feature. These setups are used with various receivers for observing solar bursts, Jupiter emissions, microwave background radiation, and so on.

Setting up PstRotator and PstRotatorAz was very simple, and I have had no problems whatsoever. I cannot say this for any other rotator program I have used, and I have used several of them.

The programs are well worth the money - their price is insignificant compared to the equipment they control. Most importantly, the programs work like they should and work like you expect.
