The very best, custom 20 meter yagi, ever made in the USA.			Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
My name is Norm Evans, I live in Arizona. When I called Tom on the phone, asking him if he would build a custom 20 meter mono bander yagi that would hold up to extreme weather conditions and high winds, he said yes, and he would build the antenna with pride,making it a very heavey duty yagi, that would last a lifetime! The picture of the yagi on Zerofive's Web. site, is the first one built by Tom, it is mounted on a MA series US Tower, at my QTH, here in Arizona. When I assembled the yagi together, I put the boom together by myself, the quality of Zerofives workmanship was perfect! All the parts, are custom made from Very heavey alumiun, Tig welded and custom machining done from tom's machine shop.All the U-bolts are 3/8 inch in dia. This antenna has a hair pin matching system, and is rated to handling 5KW power. The elements have no traps or coills,the longest element is 33ft. long. The boom is made from 2 1/4 dia. and 2 inch dia. 3/16 thick wall customed machine Alumiun. The mounting plate is made from 3/8 thick alumiun plate, and 3/8 thick u-bolts. The SWR's are a flat 1.1 to 1 across the entire 20 meter band, from 14.150 to 14.350. This antenna is a Tack Driver, for receiving and transmmitting signals. It works perfect! This yagi out preforms Steppir's hands down. I have made several thousand contacts, sence I've owned this antenna, and all the signal reports come back at 40 to 60 over S-9 signals. I've talked to over 50 countries through out the world know, and they all say that, that the signals from this antenna are the loudest signals they have ever heared from any staion here in the USA. If your looking for the very best antenna that money can buy, this is it! This antenna will provide you with a life time of enjoyment and pleasure.
