Easy to build, solid - but operation not satisfying			Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I purchased one end of the nineties at a sale for 160.- CHF (~100 Euro). It was the 30m version. The good: Easy to build (my first QRP project), nice and robust case design, lots of space for internal extensions, good QSK, 50 kHz VFO (variable capacitor with 1:3 gear reduction and dial). The bad: direct conversion receiver without image rejection (i.e., you hear the signal on both sides of the receive QRG and have to make sure it is the lower one before you answer), very broad filter, some frequency drift (but fairly stable after a warm up period). The only problem during assembly was mounting the VFO knob without having a set of imperial Allen keys. Operating it was no fun to me, since you always heard a bunch of signals and you had to check that you tune in the lower signal. Otherwise the station would not hear you (because you are 800 Hz or so above its QRG). I gave it to a ham charity auction and purchased a SmallWonderLabs DSW transceiver kit instead.

Not a bad little rig.			Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Picked one up on E-Bay for $69. This is an older rig (early to mid 90s?) with a DC receiver. It has a smooth VFO and nice QSK, but no variable filter like the newer OHR rigs. Power output is about 2 watts.
