Running Fine Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Over 48 feet it´s running about two months. Invertid V from 6 feet to down have a few more noise, so dipole D40 work best like inv. V

Brilliant! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
The D40 is a very nice antenna. Being able to null out QRM off the ends is an advantage. My D40 is at 45ft and with 400W is a real pileup buster. My D40 is 5 S units up on a ground mounted vertical (35ft vert with 4 radials). You do need to add some support to stop the D40 sagging. The antenna also works well on 15 & 17M. VSWR is below 1.4:1 throughout our 100KHz 40M allocation.

Nice item Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Using a rotateable dipole, allows an operator to cut out some QRM.I found this dipole easy to construct, taking only about an hour,to build. I found that when refering to the demensions of element pieces, that when attempting to tune the antenna to the upper phone portion of the band, lag screws installed in the loading coils, prevent the last (tuned) piece to be fully inserted..This places the frequency of the antenna just a little lower in the band, as opposed to the higher(7230)portion.Find that bandwidth is about the 200 khz as specified by Cushcraft.Overall, pleased with my purchase.
