Review Summary For : The Wire Book -- by The Wire Man Press Jones
Reviews: 3MSRP: 12
Description:
Its content is similar to WB IV, but with old errors corrected and new ones included, since we’re subject to Murphy’s Law! All of the material has been and will continue to be based on queries directed to us by hams, old and new, for over 35 years, and the answers have come from fellow hams, the manufacturers of the goods we handle, and our own experience.

Many of the marvels in communication today were born due to the curiosity of guys with callsigns, with and without formal education or laboratory facility at hand. Their stories are the “meat and potatoes,” and we’re proud to still have used them as the outline and framework of WIREBOOK V. You’ll see a number of great antenna experiences that might help you with your next project.

Excellent and well worth the money Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This is a must, one of a kind, book for new and old hams, SWL's or even CB'rs. Press Jones is a wealth of information and excellent mentor/Elmer. I have been a ham for over 50 years and still find super ideas and procedures in this book. It is well worth the price and I have never seen a similar book available on the market.

informative Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Excellent book, packed full of information on anything to do with wires, coax, ladder line, etc. If you use wire antennas this is must have book. Well worth the 12 bucks.

Great collection of useful information Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have both the WireBook IV and the WireBook V. They are a great collection of useful information. I recommend these books to anybody thinking about putting up wire antennas, or antennas in general.

The author, Press Jones N8UG, has compiled nearly a lifetime's worth of experience with coax, feedline, antennas, etc. into this one book.

I have recommended The WireBook to several new hams, and they all agree, it is full of useful information and completely worth the money.
