Works fine, but stick with the UHF version. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I really like the small foot print on my 2014 Ford Escape. I had water intrusion into my NMO version, which subsequently caused VSWR issues. I converted it to the UHF version and the sealing issue was rectified. The NMO version mount just didn't have enough surface area for my NMO antenna to seal against. Bottom line, stick with the UHF version!

Solid! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Modern curvy sports cars just don't have a lot of places to locate a trunk/lip mount for an antenna. The Diamond K412, at just 2" wide, solves the issue. This is the little brother to the K400, but it's just as solid and just as adjustable in several directions for mounting on hatchbacks, door edges, trunks, etc. I'm using the NMO version and after several test drives at speeds just over...well, ahem...80 mph, I can tell you the mount didn't budge. It's currently carrying a Larson 2/70SH, but will handle longer antennas, up to 36". It's a bit pricey at around $69.95 (depending on the version, I got the one with 13.5' of coax), but quality always is. Diamond does edge mounts right. Try it!
