Very Good ATU Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have only had this tuner a short while, managed to pick one up 2nd hand and it tunes anything. I have the later Tokyo 400L easy to tune, and the only thing i have done is added a 12v supply to 2 wheat bulbs each side of the meter. Its now nice and easy to see even in a darkened shack.

shame they don't make them any longer.

Great ATU Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Picked this up on eBay a while back for pittance. Easy to use on all bands, this is a great ATU. I never have any trouble loading up and its been in constant use since I bought it. Never let me down, a real keeper!

Quality Tuner. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I Picked this tuner up from the local rally last week.

The build quality is and finish is very good.

Fixed the fault, which was a dryjoint on the band select switch then confirmed the power meter was reading very low on both 20w and 200w range.

I contacted Tokyo Hy-power in Japan, who where very helpful and even send me a copy of the setting up procedure for the power meter with colour pictures.

Wish all companies provided this level of support for there customers.

FAN-DABBY-DOZZY Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
What a great tuner this is,designed to cover all hf amateur bands. The dials of the tune/load variable capacitors have vernier mechanisms with a reduction ratio of 6-1 vibration proof & real smooth.Solid as a rock will read power-swr at same time with twin needle meter axis, the modified circuitry has the best bandpass character-ristics i have ever seen in a tuner.Emission of spurious signal is very well suppressed great if you have any tvi or bci problems if you can find one snap it up its a real top of the line tuner, they come no better.

Quality unit ! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is not the latest model on the market but i was looking for something better than a modest MFJ for my barefoot rig.I found this little gem on Ebay in pristine condition for half the price of a current model.Construction is top-notch.Heavy
steel enclosure and high-quality parts all-around.
You can tell that this is a good one just by the weight.Vernier reduction drive on both capacitors
(BTW almost the same as in a 1000w concurrent...)
Smooth antenna switch (3-antennas) with high-quality feel.Definitely a well-made unit.A keeper !

Excellent Tuner Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This tuner replaced numerous other high power tuners when I decided to sell my collins 30S1 and 30L1 amps. These included the MB5A and various Dentron and MFJ products - which are good tuners as well. The tuner is well built, very easy to use - switching from band-to-band instantly. It has a good high quality feel to it and matches a wide variety of loads. It is also reasonably compact - but not to the point that it affects performance. I have not had a chance to ring it out on 160 meters yet however. The tuner seems to be hard to find, as I looked for mine for 3 years before finding it. It is getting a little "scratchy" when tuning so may need a cleaning, but I have experienced this from all my other tuners.
