Superb build. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have got to say this is the best base/portable antenna I have ever had or likely to have. The build quality is of the highest standard i have seen, its like owning a Rolls Royce.Geoff builds them to order and keeps you informed as to its progress,it like being fitted for a Saville Row suit.It out performs my G5RV and knocks the socks of all other portable arrangement i have used. The build quality, the way it performs on the air and the fantastic service Geoff provides puts this antenna head and shoulders above the rest

Does exactly what it says Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I've been looking at a /p antenna to improve working with minimum set-up and maximum performance (at a reasonable price). My initial evaluation compared it with many other popular units on the market ie multi band dipoles for portable working.

The basic antenna comes with all the components for a 80 to 30 mtr dipole. Options include tripod mount and additional coils for 15 mtr and cable.

The level of engineering is high, top grade components used through out and fits together within a couple of minutes (30 seconds for 10 mtrs).

My initial tests in my back yard at 10 feet, 2 's point' improvement on 10 and 17 mtr bands and the signals were generally louder against my G5RV (at 45 feet). Band conditions on other frequencies were too poor to be evaluated. The optional tripod is very sturdy and safe. The unit can be mounted on a suitable pole should you wish for fastening to a fence post or other portable installation. All those little extra's are provided like cable restraint, weather proof boot for PL259 and the dipole matching unit is IP rated. Test sample plots for each frequency were provided (the actual antenna itself) and bandwidth good given it's size.

Working portable it out performed a portable vertical antenna (with radials) I use for QRP by a large margin. This unit offers great value for money at a build quality that is second to none. And it's British!!!

Bring on the summer, this is a great set up highly recommended. Go check it out before you part with your money.
