Very solid, very happy Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I ordered, received and installed one of the KF7P cable entry panels/boxes with Morgan surge arrestors in my new QTH. Chris contacted me after my online order and let me know his schedule for delivery. In about a week, the panel and accessories arrived. The quality was excellent (solidly built) and I am very happy with the purchase, installation and function of the entry panel. All in all, it was a very positive experience. No buyers regret here :-) -- Thanks Chris!

5 years later, still as good as new. I changed out some of the surge arrestors to allow UHF frequencies etc. Chris is always a great resource. This is a very high quality product. My only regret is that I should have bought a bigger one, you know how radios multiply ;-)

Top notch product line Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I moved recently and was immediately faced with the problem of getting the coax from the shack to the backyard so I could get on the air. At my previous QTH, I accomplished this with PVC electrical boxes and conduit, but I wanted something that looked nicer and had provisions for grounding and lightning arrestors.

I am so glad that I found KF7P's excellent website! I spent some time looking at his videos and extensive list of options before ordering. I settled on the small box (10" x 10") in white (to match the white painted brick wall outside my shack). I had two Alpha Delta lightning arrestors installed on the nice copper panel, and used the 1.5" conduit to run through the wall. I also ordered grommets and sleeves for my coax, plus hole covers to fill the spare holes that I specified for my custom panel.

My biggest problem was finding someone to drill through the brick wall and install my panel. However, a local ham friend did this for me, and the installation looks very professional. My XYL is very pleased with the appearance!

Finely finished, heavy duty entrance panels Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Emailed Chris about my project. Thirty plus years of growing cables coming through a 2x4 under the window pane. It was long overdue. He suggested that I need 2 extra large boxes. I mapped out what i needed, sent it to Chris and he got them to me within the time frame he stated. Heavy gauge powder coated galvy steel in my choice of color! All metal edges are turned and rolled so no cutting of wires, cables or fingers! Top quality - 12 Morgan arrestors including 3 rotator units. Keyed locks, even asked me if I wanted "suicide doors" on the twins (yes!). Weather strips around the doors, between the boxes and walls, and thick rugged grommets for the cables. I have 6 Andrew LDF4-50A cables coming in along with "400" size and rotor cable - no problem.Great looking, a pleasure to work with, and look to last more years than I have left, lol. Before the guys come over to see the shack, I'll bring them around to see the entrance panels first! Chris was great to work with, good communicator. Will likely call on him again for some of his other products. Oh yes, and the candy was appreciated, an old tradition was nice to see. 73 de Shawn - N1HOQ

Professional and solid Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Very solid and professionally built. Makes it easier for a rookie like me to drill a hole in the side of my house and bolt the thing to the siding when it looks so good and installation is easy. Chris provided prompt and professional help by email to help me select the right size and components before I bought.

Professional looking and highly functional Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is definitely the way to clean up your coax entry and keep lightning out of the shack. I chose the medium size fiberglass box and have room to expand into 12 Array Solutions (ICE) coax protectors and 24 rotator control wire protectors. My Internet ISP thought it looked so professional they were willing to run their Ethernet cable through the box using my POE protector to keep lightning from frying their routers inside the shack as well. Very satisfied Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Recently I purchased a large cable entry panel from "Metalworks - Cable Entry Panel" and am really happy with this product. Chris (KF7P) had excellent communication with me to confirm exactly what I was looking for and sent the completed cable entry box promptly to me when it was ready. Everything looks very professionally done and I would recommend him to other amateurs without any hesitation. Chris included some candy bars to give me the energy I needed to install this with snow in the air.

Great product and service Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I bought one of the 10 x 10 Small Boxes with several accessories (grommets plugs, interior wall plate cover and conduit install kit) several months ago. Prior to the purchase I sent emails to KF7P with questions and a photo of what I was thinking. Chris sent back great feedback.

I'm extremely pleased with the entry panel. It looks very professional and has high Spouse Acceptance Factor on the side of the house. The material and build quality is excellent. When I put in the order Chris actually called to make sure he knew if there was any specific customization that needed to be done.

The order came as expected and included some candy as a thank you.

Excellent Product Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
KF7P Metalwerks builds an extremely well-built product. The build and materials are to-notch, the powder coating job impeccable. The thick sheet of copper that makes up the single point ground was pre-drilled for my brand of lightning arresters. The box looks great on my house, and presents a very neat and clean appearance while keeping prying hands away from potentially high voltages.

Very highly recommended.

Excellent Product Time Owned: more than 12 months.
My Entry Panel/Box has been is service 12+ months. It is an excellent product and is very sturdy/robust for use with LMR600 type cables. Chris was excellent to work with (he took the time to listen to what I was wanting to do with the routing of the cables and the color I wanted). He had mine here in about a week after I placed the order. I plan to order another one for another set of cables I am redoing.
*****Chris, thanks for the great product & service

Retirement plans include moving to a downsized home. My XYL and I will be sharing a room for our hobbies and aesthetics are very important to her, so I wanted a way to unobtrusively bring feedlines to my operating position. I ran across the KF7P Metalwerks website while searching for a solution and I'm so pleased! Chris was very helpful in selecting the right panel and it's a real winner. Heavy duty construction that should last the rest of my life and the powder coat finish is beautiful. It looks great mounted on the exterior wall and the feedlines will be neatly routed. And of course everything is grounded and protected through arrestors. This panel helps to make the old saying - happy wife, happy life - come true.
