Solved my multi-year old problem! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Totally in agreement with the previous reviewer.
This item has made working SSB satellites like RS-44 and FO-29 a joy. I had problem with massive desense
on the 145 up / 435 dn ssb satellites that at times,
made having a successful qso all but impossible.
The J filter has totally alleviated the problem.

I have to admit that I was skeptical at first after
a friend of mine suggested this item as a possible fix to my problem but, wow was I wrong.

This filter has quickly taken what were my most disliked satellites to work and turned them into my favorites.

If you are serious about working SSB satellites, I would put this on the list as a mandatory addition to your hardware.

Quick thanks to Dale at Par for answering my many questions and for the fast shipping.

Highly recommended!

WORKS WORKS WORKS !! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a "Top Notch" Filter for Mode - J work. Finally a filter you can TX through. Mine is centered on 145.920 and harmonic rejection is excellent on 70 cm. Well built ,small and mine is connected directly to my FT 847 via the N connector. The 3rd harmonic of 145 mhz was killing on 435 mhz. Not any more ! A must for the serious satellite operator.Sales and service at Par are exceptional.
