I recently made a purchase of Buxcomm connectors and adaptors. I got SO-239 to SO239 couplers, PL-259 to PL259 couplers, PL-259 to SO-239 right angle connectors, and some KC-259 (SO-239 to PL259 push on) adaptors. All of these were 10-packs.

At first look, they seem to be well constructed, and very solid connectors. But the KC-259 push on adaptors gave me the most concern. The center conductor pin fits well into any SO-239, but the outer shield case fits very loosely. I got a pack of 10 of these, and they all were the same.

The SO-239 end of the KC-259 does not have enough threads to screw the PL-259 onto it tightly, and leaves a little room for wiggle. These problems make for an intermittent poor ground connection and high SWR.

The other adaptors I bought were also a bit loose, especially the center conductor of the SO-239 ends. I had to bend in the contacts slightly on the center pin walls to make a better contact. Some of them still had intermittent contact while transmitting. All of these connectors were bought in 10-packs, and all had the same exact issues.

I would recommend not purchasing these Buxcomm connectors, and stick to Amphenol quality instead.
