Much better than solid dielectric Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It handles my 100W output with ease, would probably handle 5X as much. The above comments about tinning are exactly right, but at least the conductors are robust, not like the tinsel wires of old-style TV twinlead. Also, much less affected by rain than the solid types. Lighter and smaller than the 450 ohm version, it can usually substitute for it, after re-calculation. VF of .89.
Also available from DX Engineering.

A great alternative to the larger 450 ohm ladder line. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is a much improved version of the old 300 ohm TV type twin lead that was so popular years age. It is best described as semi-ladder line. It is about half solid dielectric and half ladder line. It looks strange, but it seems to work just fine.

PROS: semi-ladder line
#18 stranded conductors
reasonable price
smaller than 450 ohm ladder line

CONS: conductors are hard to work with unless tinned

I give this a 4 only because the conductors are hard to work with. The best approach seems to be to strip the wires and then immediately tin them. Otherwise, the strands spread apart and are almost impossible to twist together.

I only run 20 watts with this feed line into a 55 ft. dipole, so I can't vouch for it's power handling capability, but I would guess that it would handle 100 watts OK.

Overall, I am very pleased with this cable and much prefer it to other twin lead I have seen.
