GREAT OLD RADIO! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
WHAT I REMEMBER MOST ABOUT THIS RADIO WAS A RECEIVER THAT WAS VERY SELECTIVE.
INETERFERENCE WAS NEVER A PROBLEM.

Seems pretty good Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I had one of these mobile 10 watt radios for a few months back in 1998. Eventually traded it, plus several other radios, to get a Yaesu FT736R. I only got in on a couple of 6 meter openings with it, but it seemed to do ok. I was using it with a 100 watt amp, though.

The red LED look pretty nice, and it is a nice size for mobile work. My biggest complaint was the tuning dial. Instead of smooth tuning, it had the detented click click knob. That may be nice for mobile work, but it got old fast in the shack.

Icom IC-560 6 meters all mode Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Almost as good as my FT-847, except for low power. Good for 6m mobile op. (very strong)

I see no reviews on icom 560-it is all mode 6m. mobile rig. 10 watt bought it in early 80"s still use it most of time on 6m. also have 150 watt amp. to use with it. do have yaesu ft920 has 6m in it but like the 560 better for 6m-yes did buy it new. but for 20yr.old works as good as day bought
