Exactly What I Needed Time Owned: more than 12 months.
These markers are exactly what I needed! I have had 100 KHZ markers in the past, but the addition of a 1 MHZ marker is very useful for those old radios whose band calibration is way off. I have used the MG-6 marker with a Heathkit Mohican, a Hallicrafters SX-43, and a Radio Shack DX-160. So far I have used the marker externally, but plan to install one inside of the Mohican and the Hallicrafters. Bottom line: Great marker at a great price!

Ham radios best kept secret Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
MG -1
This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in amateur radio. I could not build one for the same price here in VK. A fully built unit already aligned, all I needed was a battery and a small length of wire, and it was ready to go.
Outputs on 100, 50, 25 KHZ, this is the perfect accessory for radios with analogue dials.

Great Find for rcvr Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
MG-6
This marker generator has outputs at 1 Mhz and 100 Khz. I put a lead to each and arranged the 1 Mhz lead closer to the antenna input. Now I get very strong markers at the 1 Mhz frequencies and faint markers at 100 Khz as well.
I find this better than the usual 100 Khz markers I was used to that many of the boatanchors were supplied with.
And at a very low price.

Fantastic accessory Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in the Ham world. WB9JFR makes these VERY nice crystal claibrators for WAY less than you will pay for just a 100 KHz xtal.
The Model MG-1 produces strong outputs on 100, 50 and 25 KHz.
The MG-6 produces outputs on 1 MHz and 100 KHz.
The PCBs come with an on-board voltage regulator and function perfectly on a 9V battery. They are small and fit into RS plastic boxes if you don't want to put one inside your radio.

NO connection, just a VERY happy customer...
