Acceptable Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
OK for portable use when you don't want to bother with a bigger unit. Accuracy isn't 100% but its close enough.

Great little rig. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I've really enjoyed using this frequency finder, and have had great results. One comment needs to be made: the NiCads don't last long, so go to your favorite radio store and buy a AA battery holder immediately. Some shaving and shoving should get it into Cub and you'll never have dead batteries again.

frequency counter Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a pretty useful tool. Convenient pocket size.I like the capture mode, but the NiCd batteries are very small, and not standard; mine got cooked from leaving the charger plugged in too long.

Nice counter Time Owned: more than 12 months.
This is a good basic frequency counter. It covers 1MHz - 2.8 GHz, runs on an internal rechargable battery, and comes with a very basic antenna (BNC connection.) My only complaint about this counter is that I cannot run it off DC power instead of the batteries. I'm always wanting to use when the batteries have drained, and I need to let them charge before the counter becomes usable.
