Excellent Service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently called Norm to ask about some enhancements to my Rotor Controler. Norm wasn't available so I left him a message. Norm called me back with in 10 minutes. Even though the call was on his dime he was willing to take the time to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. I ordered the parts and they arrived in a timely manner. When I compared the shipping charge on the invoice with the actual charge on the package, Norm had charged me $3.00 less for shipping than his actual cost.

It is a real pleasure to do business with Norm. It is unfortunate that more retailers and service providers don't have his customer positive attitude.

PERFECT! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Norm did a great job on rebuilding the rotor, and fitting the control unit for computer control. He took the time and made the effort to do everything I needed and more.

I highly recommend Norm's rotor service. I have an old Ham II that I bought second hand some 15 years ago. I move to Florida in 1998 and did not put the tower back up until last month. Put a TA 53 up on a crankup tower. Always thought the rotor was still good, but it wasn't. I sent it off to Norm's for repair. It took about 3 weeks just like he said, and the packing was excellent, the rotor looked like a new one. I upgraded with the brk-d-lay and happy i did. The Ham II works better than a new one. Good job and very good service. Norm was always very polite and extremely helpful on the phone. He even followed up with me on the shipping. I will hope this service will be availble for us Ham's for a long time.

Minor problem with rotor control Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Recently had my orignal rotor fail.(a cheap radio
crap item)I had read a review of Norms rotor service while looking for a replacement and decided to buy a nos Alliance rotor and control
unit from Norm. Rotor and control unit arrived in
fine shape. When i installed the alliance rotor i had a small problem with the control unit not staying in caliabration. After talking to Norm a
couple of times about the problem, he had me return the control unit for another one which
works fine. I am very happy with the rotor and
his service! Big business could learn a few things from Norm!!He takes the time to talk to
you about your situation/problem. Friendly,wants
you satisfied with your purchase!! Five stars!

Very Good Experience Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Sent Norm on a used HamIV I bought and to make a long story short it was really a HamII. Good thing I had Norm involved who had the expertise to know this. Prevented me from future headaches. He presented sound options for me and ended up upgrading the rotor to full HamIV specs adding a brake delay and cable I needed. It probably would have been better for me to just have bought one of Norms rebuilt HamIV's to start with, but thats not Norms fault! Anyway, Norm turned a sticky situation into good.

Reconditioned HD-73 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently had a small rotor fail that was used on a roof mounted 3 element 6 Meter yagi. I decided to get one of Norm's reconditioned Alliance HD-73 rotors as a replacement. As far as I am concerned, you would be hard pressed to tell that the delivered rotor wasn't brand new. I know it may be overkill, but I am delighted to have it and it works perfectly.

This can't be the same rotor! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It's unusual when a product or service gets a perfect 5.0 after twenty-some reviews. But a five-oh it is for the service my rotor got from Norm's. It was in pretty sad shape when I sent it in for service; rusted bearings and terminal strip; broken pot, miserable looking. When I opened the return box 2 weeks later, I couldn't believe my eyes. I had to have gotten the wrong rotor back. This one was gleaming, brand new looking, smelling of fresh grease. I checked the serial number. Yep, same one. Quickly I hooked it up on the bench, and it ran as good as it looked. It's been giving me trouble-free service every since. Highly recommended, nice guy, no bull, no attitude like that other shop.

A++++++ Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had a rotor in such a bad shape an it was sitting in parts on my garage bench for two years. I finally decided that it needs attention of someone who has all needed parts.
In two weeks rotor came back I could not recognize it :) it's brand new rotor , even painted in same colour.

Highly recommended.

Attention to detail Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently sent in my Hy-Gain rotor controller due to damage caused by a high SWR surge down the control line. It completely fried the rotor-EZ control board I had installed. I sent it to Norm’s with a note to look at it and to see if he could also increase the brightness the meter display (Hy-Gain take note). Norm e-mailed me with the problem, and indicated he would do the best to replace the damaged parts if possible. I received Norm’s e-mail of the final estimate which included the replacement of the entire rotor-EZ board. I was expecting the cost to be the total amount for a new board. I was pleasantly surprised when Norm indicated that he would give me credit for any parts of the original board that he could savage and use. Not only was the board replaced, but the meter lighting was improved along with a new face plate to cover a small “ding” caused during the original modification. All this at a total cost much less then a new board would have been. Thank you Norm for the time it must have taken to complete the repair at an honest and reasonable cost. I would use Norm’s again without question.
