Great Service! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought my Ham 2 rotor new in 1976. It had served me well, but time had definitely come for maintenance!

VERY convenient using e-mail and his TOLL FREE number! I exchanged several e-mails and telephone calls with Norm's Rotor Service asking the normal questions.

VERY quick service - 10 days round trip from my house!

VERY reasonable price! Total parts, labor, and shipping totalled $160. Not bad when you consider a new, similar rotor is now over $500!

VERY helpful guy! After I reinstalled the rotor, I had a couple of questions. He returned my telephone calls and e-mails extremely promptly. Always seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was comfortable with every answer and issue.

I'll definitely use Norm's Rotor Service again, and I'll recommend it to all my friends!

Does the job right, not cheaply. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Prompt and professional service. Norm has all the right parts and experience to do the job right, it seems to me. Courteous and quick e-mail communication and payment by credit card made my transaction with him quick and enjoyable. Norm completely overhauled a Ham II for me in about a week. My rotor came back with all new stainless steel hardware installed, a feature I didn't expect, but was glad to pay for. I am completely satisfied, and would recommend Norm to repair anybody's rotor. Good guy to do business with, in my opinion.

Very Helpful Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I am planning my first tower installation for next year. I emailed Norm with a question about sizing a rotor for a top mount on a tubular tower. He gave me the info I needed, promptly too, and I haven't even bought anything from him yet! Thanks much for the help.

Nice Guy Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Had a CD45II in storage for a few years & decided
to put up a new TH3MK4 I had in a box for 7 years.

The old rotor had a broken ring gear and on of the smaller gears had a tooth missing.

Got the stuff including a new mast adapter in a few days. Rebuilt the unit & it works 100%.

He had all the parts I needed and was nice to deal with. He called me on the phone to confirm each part.

Helpful Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Ordered some parts from Norm and my first shipment didnt arrive. Norm sends the package with tracking & insurance and the USPS tracking showed it made it to my town but I never received it. Upon my request Norm immediately sent me another package of parts.
Although it wasnt Norms fault that USPS lost my package, Norm worked with his local postmaster to see that I got the USPS insurance.

Thanks Norm for the great customer service!

19-yr old Hygain Tx2 repaired Time Owned: more than 12 months.
My TX2 rotor gave up the ghost after 19 years of faithful service. After looking at the cost of a new one, I decided to ship it to Norms for repairs. I don't remember the exact cost but it was around 170 dollars. Turn-around time was pretty quick and now the rotor is back up on the tower where I hope it lasts another 19 years.

Good service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I sent a HD73 in for repair that was in pieces, gave Norm a note with my price limits. He called to explain it would cost more, decided to get a refurbished one. It arrived promptly and even had the top bracket (which I had one from the old one) and a manual. Good service and communications.
Highly recommend

Would Do Business With Again Time Owned: N.A.
Had these folks repair an Alliance HD73. They did a great job. Rotor works fine now. Turn-around time was very good. Very fair price too.

Excellent, professional service from people who care. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
My Ham IV rotor was brought to Norm's Rotor Service for repair of a broken brake support bottom casting. After initial inspection it was obvious that the rotor needed additional service including a new style wedge brake(broken), a worn motor and pinion as well as new style cable termination unit, indicator lamp, indicator scale and the various hardware parts associated with this repair. After working on the unit for 2 hours and a complete rebuild, the charge for all service was less than $170.00.
The unit has been working flawlessly since Feb, 2000 turning a Mosley S402B 2 el 40M yagi, a Hygain TH7DX tribander and a CushCraft 6M 5 el yagi.
It's refreshing to have your equipment serviced by folks who don't throw quality by the wayside and who are genuinely intersted in customer satisfaction.
Norm's Rotor Service has the equipment and expertise necessary to service HyGain Rotor products effectively.
