Update on my previous review: after 20 years with the RCI-SE I purchased the ARS-USB from Pablo 6 months ago, and have been using it extensivly for 144 EME with my G5500 rotator and PSTRotator software. In summary: it works great, everything was 100% 'plug and play' - perfect, I highly recommend it !
I bought my ARS RCI-SE interface from Pablo EA4TX in 2002, and used it back then extensively for satellite operations, with ARSWIN and Windows XP. Unfortunately I had to QRT a few years later, for professional reasons, but with my retirement I am now again setting up my ham radio station.

I initially ran into difficulties using my old RCI-SE interface under Windows 7, so I wrote to Pablo to see what I could do and if there was any way which would allow me to still use it. Pablo wrote back immediately and provided detailed support on how to set up the system, trying to get it to work, providing support 16 years (!) after my purchase - absolutely outstanding !

My rotor control is now again working flawlessly, Yaesu G5500 azimuth/elevation, with the RCI-SE and Windows 7, and the PCSat32 tracking software.

If you are looking for a quality rotor control system, with excellent product support, I will wholeheartedly recommend the ARS from Pablo EA4TX.

Excelente controlador y soporte humano Time Owned: more than 12 months.
No uno sino tres controladores ARS tengo ya!. El primero lo adquirí en 2004 en su versión de puerto paralelo para un rotor G-5500 con acimut y elevación cuyo desempeño fue magnífico, una compra excelente. Lo utilizaba para mover una parábola de rejilla para los satélites NOAA en 1.6GHz. Desde entonces he visto crecer el proyecto de Pablo-EA4TX y he ido adquiriendo las nuevas versiones a medida que mi sistema de antenas aumentaba. Desde la primera compra en 2004 nunca he cambiado de controlador; Pablo ha hecho un excelente trabajo con el ARS y no necesito nada más.

Utilizo los controladores ARS en remoto a través de una Raspberry Pi3 con el software ser2net cuya instalación y manejo están perfectamente explicados en la web https://ea4tx.com/ También he utilizado la aplicación web sobre la Raspberry lo que me permite operar el rotor desde cualquier navegador web, incluido el móvil. Es genial para cuando subo al tejado y quiero revisar que la antena gira correctamente, pues tengo conmigo todo lo necesario para rotar la antena yo mismo.

Por último decir que en todos estos años, el soporte que da Pablo no ha podido ser mejor.
Recomiendo este controlador sin ninguna duda.

Excellent Controller Interface Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have the ARS-USB connected to the Yaesu G5500DC and use SATPC32 application. ARS is setup to use the 450 deg. Azimuth option and also the 180 deg. Elevation option. ARS-USB handles all the interfacing flawless without any issues. I just select my choice from SATPC32 and ARS-USB does the rest! Setting up was simply done by following the well prepared instructions but if needed Pablo is always ready to support very promptly. Well done EA4TX for this product.

I purchased this controller after talking to Pablo online with several questions. He was quick to answer and very detailed in his answers. I received the controller and after calibration to my G-800DXA and setting the offsets the controller works perfectly! I highly recommend the ARS-USB.

Great Controller - great support Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Just installed this new controller for my Yaesu G-450DC rotator. I wanted to replace the Yaesu-Controller to control the rotator via computer (Ham Radio Deluxe).

To bring it to a short end: the controller from EA4TX/Pablo works great! The documentation is very good to understand and the interface to setup easy to do.

Last but not least: when there is a question, just mail to Pablo. He will answer within minutes and help excellent.

Clear conclusion: you can't go wrong with this controller!

ARS-USB with the Yaesu G450ADC rotor(DC voltage) Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Using the ARS-USB with the G450ADC rotor(DC voltage). Pablo worked with me to develop an add-on pcb that fits right inside the ARS-USB case, attaching directly to the terminal block. The system calibrates quickly. I even used offsets due to non-linearity in the rotor potentiometer. When completed everything was aligned perfectly.
I use the rotor system for satellite tracking, interfaced to Satpc32. Everything works perfectly together. Satpc32 automatically steers the antennas thru the ARS-USB.
Pablo by far has the BEST customer service and support out there. Been a ham for over 40 years and glad I decided to buy the controller from Pablo. He has a nice product line with great support. I'll be going to Pablo for my next controller for my HF rotor system!

Exactly what you need. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have this system now for more than a year and have 0 regrets, actually only joy. Pablo is super, the support is always perfect when needed. As soon as I received the box I connect everything and ready to work, I had some questions and Pablo called me immediately, unbelievable! We had a chat, he basically gave me a training on the software and what can be achieve and now I'm getting a second controller. If you need a good controller that can be manually, remotely and automated with a honest price, this is the way to go.

Hat's off and thumbs up to Pablo and his excellent rotor control box. The box arrived in 6 days. I built my own rotor and spent a lot of time looking for a box that had a USB input and the necessary connections to my DC Az/El motors and feedback pots.

The EA4TX controller is the perfect solution to any rotor and it works great for me.. I had a few questions for Pablo and he responded by e-mail quickly. He was very patient and gave me the answers I needed.

I will be recommending this box to a friend who is overhauling a commercial rotor. Thank You Pablo.

Fantastic System - just works Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Wasn't really sure about this product, but I was having issues with my ERCs (one replaced under warranty failed again). So I confirmed some details on the rotator power supply for VK and when ahead. The box arrive in 6 days and was up and running about 10 minutes later.

It is a joy to use very accurate and much faster now in turning the rotator than by original G-2800 controller. I will be buying a second one for the second tower shortly. Great product.

I wanted to remote the different antenna rotors here and after looking around I chose the EA4TX digital controller . I didn't really know what I was getting into at that point. When the unit was delivered I called Pablo and he set up a meeting thru TeamViewer and the rest is history. With very little help from me he set up my cpu, a rasberrypie, and my wifi so that I can control my antennas from anywhere via a computer or my android phone. I learned a lot and made a good friend. Dont miss out on this opportunity . This deal cant be beat !
