Great High Frequency Coax Time Owned: more than 12 months.
9096-2A Coax is very good low loss cable. Got a good deal on it($0.50 per foot) from some place Maryland. It does require a special PL259 because the center is a larger diameter. I have used Amphenol solder on connectors with good luck. Look for ones with a thinner wall center pin. Since this cable uses air for insulator be sure to water proof the connections with something like Water Shed tape. It is the lowest loss RG8 type cable at 440 MHz. I've used it for over 10 years and haven't noticed any water infiltration.

Garbage Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This is the poorest quality coax I have EVER bought. First the center conductor requires a larger than spec center pin. Then you must scrap the foil off the soft thin center insulator. If I ever have too work with this crap again, please some one slap me... Save your money and your wits, stay way away from any coax with 9096 on the jacket!!!
