Again, Don't Bother Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
Let's see...bought first week of January 2011. Took till the end of February to receive it, since it was not scheduled for production. DOA on arrival. Back to Mirage/MFJ/? to repair. Power switch never hooked up. Took them 4 weeks to figure that out. Shipped back, loose in box. OK...did the shake test...nothing loose...hooked up. Worked for a little over 1 week, but never made full power per their specs. That's ok, though...what is the difference between 100w and 120w? 1 dB? Cold solder joints let loose (amp looks like was visually assembled with a weller 250w soldering gun...), and 3 inductors fell off the board (it's mounted on the bottom of the heat sink, with the components on the bottom of the board...) when the T/R relay hung and overheated. Shipped back first week of April 2011. Here is is the first week of May 2011...they still have the unit (and tell me, during my weekly call to check the status....) that there's no one that's working in the Mirage tech/repair area.

In my opinion, you are a mouth-breathing fool if you spend good money for ANYTHING out of this company. They have NO quality control, are dismissive (or patronizing,...) of your concerns, and once they have your $$$$...well, they have your $$$$, and often your equipment...and you have NOTHING to show for it. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY. Mr. Jue's purchase of this formerly great company (from way past experiences...) has destroyed both it's reputation as well as its perception. I think you'd have a better chance of being satisfied if you bought stuff from the back of a truck in a parking lot at midnight.

NOT RECOMMENDED.
