Excellent service. Ronnie will get you back on the air!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Took out my finals on my FTDX-3000 with a stupid cable mistake. Ronnie had me back in business really quickly. Honest guy, good prices, excellent service and great communication.
Would highly recommend him for any servicing requirements.

Thanks Ronnie!!

Highly Recommended! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I had an old FT1000MP that was very intermittent and sent it to Ron. He spent ALOT of time on it and finally managed to get parts from an old rig. Yes, it did take some time but what I got back was a like-new functioning rig! Considering that it is approaching 25 years old, and parts are difficult to come by, he managed to get it working again. All along the way, he informed me about the process. He also fixed up some minor issues on another rig. I would highly recommend Ron. He is professional, very reasonably priced and he tells you the way it is. No need to ship to US to get your rig fixed and deal with border hassles, high exchange rate and risk your rig being damaged in transit. It was well worth the drive up to his country QTH.
If you are in Canada, see Ron and I am sure he will help you out with your amateur radio repairs.
Great job done Ron, I am very happy with your work!

Excellent communication, excellent service, excellent result. Time Owned: more than 12 months.
My old TS-440S/AT was on the shelf for over 10 years. Put it on the air and received reports of chirp, plus the sidetone sounded strange. Ronnie at Innovative Circuits put in in top condition very quickly! I sent it to him on Friday, and went to pick it up the following Saturday. Price was very fair. Since then, the rig has been in service full time, running cw and PSK31 without any issues.

Ronnie is very professional, an excellent communicator, and has extensive experience. He was quick to diagnose and initiate the required service. In my case, the service consisted of aligment, removal of some left over goop in VCO5, changing and fixing the sidetone, and cutting the diode to have the display show one additional digit.

My friend recently sent his TS-850 to Ronnie, and I am certain that the rig will be in top shape upon return. I recommend Innovative Circuits, without reservation.

Thanks Ronnie!

Their website says they fix "what the other guys can't." I believe it! I had the pleasure of dealing with Ron. It’s so great to find a Canadian radio service provider like Innovative Circuits! I’m keeping this contact and sharing with others locally who have radio repair needs!

Excellent Fast Service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Took the day off work and had a leisurely drive to Ron's QTH. Left my radio (FT-7800 VHF/UHF) with him. Excellent service, very fast turn around and it was fixed and works like new. Thank you Ron.

Fast turnaround Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Ron Smith is a knowledgeable and capable RF engineer. He was able to fix my 756Pro by finding leaky capacitors in the noise blanker circuit. He also was able to fix the auto tuner by replacing smt transistors and diodes in the tuner logic circuitry. I got him to add the Inrad roofing filter at the same time as that involved trace cutting and removal of smt components.

His service was fast, accurate and I was able to deliver and pick up the equipment. I highly recommend Ron for equipment repair.

His rates are very reasonable.

EXCELLENT Service! And Close To Home, Too!!! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
It was just good fortune & providence that I happened upon "Innovative Circuits" and its proprietor, Ron Smith, awhile back...

I was at a crossroads in the matter of my ailing Icom 751A: it had previously been returned to a service technician outside of Canada on two occasions---and each time it came back, it was plagued with ever-newer issues, damage due to mis-handling, and racking-up postage delivery costs and service charges. In frustration I was about to part the rig out for whatever its individual pieces might fetch on eBay...until I heard of Innovative Circuits.

An e-mail to Ronnie Smith was very quickly answered, & in short order, I personally delivered the 751A to his charming country QTH (which doubles as his workplace) just outside of scenic Barrie, Ontario.

After several e-mail exchanges, Ronnie performed what I consider to be an absolute miracle: he COMPLETELY RESTORED my transceiver, both physically AND electronically, to honest-to-goodness "...like-new" condition! And I just KNOW that he spent far more hours on the rig than I was billed for, too. But Ronnie was determined to make my 751A "whole" again, and I am, once again, the proud owner of an excellent, classic transceiver that has really & truly returned from the proverbial scrap heap, to take its rightful place "front and centre" in my shack.

Ronnie is a VERY patient, honest, and most engaging "...no B.S." sort of a fellow. He's an active Ham, too, and will gladly stand back as you "acid test" the results of his work on your radio on-site, at his own extensive antenna farm. His skills & abilities DESERVE our Amateur Radio repair business! Why risk damage/loss in shipping across an international border---to some unknown, dubious outfit---when Innovative Circuits is so very close at hand?

Innovative Circuits: a name to keep handy, & one that you will surely come to one day appreciate, just as I have here...thanks, Ronnie!!! You're the greatest...!!!
