Simply Amazing! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently purchased a Kenwood 990 (Amazing Unit) and wanted to get a headset with mic. First I ordered the Heil Pro set and the next day I noticed an ad in CQ for the Radiosport Headset so I ordered those as well thinking I would send back whichever I didn't like. Well there was absolutely no comparison. The Radiosport engulfed my ears and felt so comfortable that I ended up wearing them for a few hours with no discomfort whatsoever. The build quality is as if they were hand made by Ferrari, simply spectacular. Easily worth twice the price. I have gotten nothing but great reports using them. I returned the Heil's and naturally kept the Radiosport. If you ever get a chance to use or purchase these do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed. As a final note, Dave Bottom from Arlan Communications which manufactures the headsets went out of his way to call me back within minutes of my call to him and got the headsets out that day. Can't say enough about the company or the headsets

High Quality, Great Support, Comfortable and Loud Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I've had my RS20 "Dream Edition" for several months now. They replaced a David Clark H10S Listen Only which I thought would be unbeatable. In my opinion these are the equal to DC with regard to quality and service but beat DC when it comes to comfort (less clamping pressure) and available audio (louder than DC). I was at first skeptical about having a jack on the earpod, especially when I began to encounter scratchiness. It turned out to be faulty cables, not the headset. A high quality male/male 1/8" patch cord immediately solved the problem. In a nutshell, I really like them!

Excellent ! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have the RS20S listen only "deluxe dream" model. This is an aereonautical quality headset that is really comfortable to wear for long periods of time, even over glasses, and over the ear hearing aids. They do an excellent job of ambiant noise reduction- to the extent that I can't hear the xyl page me for meals. (I guess this could be good or bad.) They hear very well and are perfect for noisy enviroments such as Field Day or EMCOM. The warranty is for 5 years, and includes a no charge upgrade to the latest specs. The service first class.

Killer headsets Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
If you think about it, your headset is as important as your antenna/radio combo. You can have the greatest antenna and hottest transceiver, but if your headphones are uncomfortable, or don't "sound" good, you will not enjoy the radio experience. I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506 cans that I love and used extensively for ham radio. They play great for music, not bad for radio, but for contesting, my ears would be plenty sore after a few hours.

Enter the RadioSport headsets. I have had the RS60CF for 5 months. Super addition to the station. I now have a boom mounted microphone and wanted to clean up the wires in my cramped operating position so wanted a pair of listen only headphones. I thought about getting a second pair of MDR-7506's. I tried my old ones again and wow--no go--ears hurt. I opted to spring for Dave's RS20S since I have thoroughly enjoyed the RS60CF headset. Both are truly outstanding. The background noise is nil, comfort is amazing. I can listen for hours and no pain whatsoever. Yes, a few extra dollars, but clearly this is a case of you get what you pay for. Additionally, Dave is a pleasure to deal with. You will not be sorry getting these headsets. If you are a contester or spend hours playing radio, the RadioSports are the ones to get.

Top Notch Cans Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This Christmas, I treated myself to a set of Radio Sport head phones. I purchased the RS20S Deluxe Dream headset. These are "listen only" headsets with no mic. . I work cw and digital only , so did not require the boom mic. I do listen in on SSB , and they work great for that as well. The voices sound full and rich without the noise above and below the voice frequencies. When I received and unpacked them, I was impressed with the quality of materials used and the fit and finish. They are very well made . Like most of us, I've had many headphones over the years. But this is the 1st one I've had that was designed for communications only. The are so comfortable that I can wear them for extended periods of time. They do not pinch my ears or head at all. And that's with my glasses on to boot. At my location, they filter out some of the crud while leaving the signal alone. I am very happy with mine and I definitely recommend them. Max

Nothing less than terrific Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
On 10 Nov 2012 I attended the fall meeting of the WVDXA. The speakers were Hal W8HC and Clark W8TN both had just returned fron the Swains Island dexpedition. Clark had his Radiosport headset at the meeting and told how well they they did to cut down outside noise. Since I have a hearing problem, I thought this might help me.
I called Dave and he said he felt it would help my ability to hear weak signals.
When they arrived in 2 days. When I put them on and the only thing I could hear was my heart beat
( I forgot to plug the head set into the rig ). They keep the outside noise out, you only hear radio output.I have been a ham over 50 years and I have used a lot of different headsets and these are the BEST. Don't wait order a pair today, you will not be sorry. Now I can hear the weak 160m DX signals a whole lot better.
The workmanship is without flaw.
Tnx Dave and Clark

Terrific Headphones! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
The Elecraft KX3 is my only rig, and it was designed primarily for headset/headphones. Since I operate almost exclusively CW, I did a lot of research for the right communications headphones. I ended up choosing the radiosport RS20S deluxe 'dream' edition with the optional sheep-skin headband. I've been using them for a little over three months and I am delighted with them. Great audio and they truly block out background noise. Excellent customer service to boot!

Professional quality Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased the RS20S headset and am very pleased with audio clarity and comfort. They are finely built with rugged components.I had been using a set of Sony mdr 7506 studio headphones which are fine but the earpads started comming apart. These RS20s are way more rugged and have better sound for ham radio than the Sonys.I will keep the Sonys for music but love my RS20S for DX. I don't find headset bothersome for long duration operating.Quick service, Made in USA

Extraordinary headphones!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have been using Stanton audiophile headphones since 1978 and until now nothing could compare to the sound quality. This month my wife gave me the RS60-CF phones for my birthday, and I have been staggered by the difference! These are nothing short of spectacular. I have turned down my AF gain quite a way, and backed off on my RF gain as well to keep the audio level down. They don’t distort with the gain up, but it’s not necessary to have the gain up like it was with my stantons. Also, I find my IF shift and noise reduction functions on my FT-920 are much more effective with these. The base response is wonderful and these bring out the best from contacts using full range mikes, but I can adjust the bass level down easily to bring out difficult signals and I can lower the audio level of the noise floor to almost nothing and still hear the weak signals. They are incredibly comfortable and external noise reduction is amazing. My wife was trying to get my attention and had to tap on my shoulder because I couldn't hear her talking loudly to me two feet away. If you have the volume set to normal listening levels and take them off and hold the two earpieces together, no sound escapes the earphones - even in a quiet room. You gotta try these. They are a little more expensive but worth every penny. If they last as long as my Stantons, the cost will only be a few dollars per year. - KS6A

Outstanding! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
This is simply the best headset I have owned in 20 years of being a ham! I ordered the RS60CF sometime in March 2012 and received them in April as promised. Initially the mic element I ordered did not sound the way I wanted so I spoke at length with Dave and he got me straightened out. I am now using the M360 with ICOM 7600 and 9100 and the audio is superb! This is the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. I have tried many and there is no comparison to any others on the market currently. I have a touch of tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and the frequency response of this headset greatly relieves listening fatigue for me. They are very pleasant to listen too. Highly recommended!
