Bargain prices for a fine DMM Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Best kept secret for a true RMS DMM around! Built like tank and very accurate. Make sure it says "27/FM" around the LCD display. If just marked on the rear, it's not a true RMS,

Superb DMM Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
This Fluke DMM was made for the US Army, and is one of the most rugged DMM’s made. Its case is double the thickness of other Fluke DMM’s, all seams are rubber O ring sealed, it’s very shock and chemical resistant. It has fast auto ranging, and includes the desirable milli-volt and micro-amps scales for the ham or electronics hobbyist, along with peak holds. Has 3200 count display, and uses standard 9 volt battery. This DMM performs excellent as a Fluke should, and is constructed like a brick. These are perhaps the best DMM bargain on the used market as Army surplus, the surplus ones I have got have all been in excellent condition with recent calibration checks. They use standard test leads and all documentation is available online for free.
