Wow! What a great resource! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I sent a request, on a holiday weekend, and lo and behold I received a very helpful response. I suspect Pete is one of few sources for this sort of info, and he certainly is kind, quick, and helpful. Thank you!

Took a shot, hit paydirt! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Thanks Pete! You helped me put the pieces together and better understand how my Dad was associated with the call sign W0COM. It's always with great regret that we often have more questions to ask of someone after they are no longer with us. Sometimes looking into the past is possible and helps to close up gaps in our knowledge. Very worthwhile service.

First time dealing with Pete - Excellent Service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had read the many complimentary reviews of Pete on eHam and thought I'd give him a try at finding some information about my original Novice license issued in 1959. He narrowed down the issue date and responded promptly. Could not have asked for better service.

Thanks to Pete for his prompt and accurate amateur radio callsign research website as now I have a family member’s old callsign and when it was issued.
Would recommend him without reservation.

Valuable Information Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I needed to know when I received my novice license. Searches for my WN4 call yielded no hits.

I found the call book with the 1st mention of my WB4 call but the callbook issue prior to it could not be found on the search engines.

That’s when I found Pete and made my request. He responded very quickly and I had my answer. Now I have proof of when I was 1st licensed with my WN4 call.

Pete is fast and helpful and communicates well, as you would expect from a good ham.

Thanks for the help.

PROMPT RESPONSE Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
A friend bought a '69 Illinois auto license plate on line and it turned out to be a ham call sign plate. Turns out the plate was for his wife's '69 Chevy pickup and he was interested in ID'ing the plate's original owner. NL7XM came to the rescue in short order with info out of a '65 Call Book.

While I was active duty US Army stationed in Hawaii, 2004-2010, my XYL obtained a vanity call, KH6EO. Now we are both EO's. I requested Pete's help to review the history of KH6EO, since the prefix KH6 first appeared after WWII (before that hams in Hawaiian Territory were given K6's). From Pete's research it appears that KH6EO was never issue until the FCC granted my wife's request for the call. We are apply for licenses to operate in Iraq for 9 months in 2011-2012 while I am teaching at www.servantgroup.org school in Suleymaniah. I suspect we'll have YI9 prefixes. The YI calls in the 1946 Callbook include British military. May have to ask Peter for more history.
Thanks Pete de N4EO and KH6EO.

6/23/2022 Angie's niece just received the call she gave up when she got her vanity call KH6EO. Angie was N6DXW from 1980-2007. Geovanna, her niece is now N6DXW, ex-KQ4AYL. I still have Pete's nice letter with his discovery that KH6EO had never been issued before Angie received in as a vanity call in 2007 while I posted to Honolulu in the Army. Thanks again Pete! If you're ever in TN look us up! 73, Jerry N4EO, ex-YI9EO, ex-HL9EO (retired US Army)

Spectacular! Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
Pete reached out to me, current W4HX station holder & grandson of Rudy - original W4HX, in October 2021 stating that he was in possession of some of Rudy's original license and station artifacts....... I believed these LONG LOST!

Pete located and reached out to me via email to advise what he had and to offer the lot to me. There were sixteen original documents and pictures that I (and the family) thought were lost either prior to or at the estate sale. Pete even emailed a photo showing the documents.

The documents arrived as promised, both packaged well and on the prescribed date.

My review now, as I replied to Pete:
"One word descriptor: SPECTACULAR!"

Outstanding work, outstanding service-thanks! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I recently reached out to Pete to help research the forgotten call sign and history of a family friend who a coworker of my dad’s going back to the 70s.

My parents are both deceased and their friend has been an SK for 40 years.

I have searched old call books myself and felt I’d never know the call sign of this ham, who incidentally helped launch me into my love of radio when he loaned me an S38 when I was in middle school allowing me to hear hams, CE; and Cold War shortwave broadcasts for the first time.

Pete got me the call sign and our friend’s ham history in no time and at a most reasonable fee.

Thanks Pete de AB1DQ!

Pete is diligent!! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I submitted my callsigns to Pete - I had been missing license info - some unknown when's and and where's, of my Novice and General license/s I had back from the 60's and onward. With Pete's detailed searching, he provided me with info to fill in the those blanks of missing callsign history! Dealing with Pete was a very worthwhile and rewarding experience!
