Very Thorough and Responsive Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Pete provides an excellent service and I am very grateful for his prompt and thorough research of my callsign history. I contacted Pete on a week he was out of town at his son's wedding and he responded to let me know he would get to my callsign research as soon as he got back home to his house. He was true to his word and provided an excellent detailed summary in very timely fashion. I highly recommend Pete to any of my fellow hams interested in learning about their callsign.

Much appreciated Pete!!!

I appreciate Pete taking the time to research my original license and current callsign (K4KZ) dates. This is a wonderful service to hams!

So very helpful! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I had been looking for my doctor's call sign from the 1950s and he found it! It wasn't quite what I remembered, but I was a kid. My medical doctor was a ham and he had radio classes for us school kids, then we built a crystal radio in a wooden box which we varnished. Then he took us to a park to put up wires and listen to BC and SW stations. He unknowingly introduced me to SOTA, in 1957! Dr. J. F. Porter, K0CQG, rest in peace.

Pretty Quick! Helped a lot! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Don't know where he collected all his callbooks from, but it does help him to find data requested. I does tell how the books are not all in great shape. It is too bad they can not be all digitized. I would love to see the original documents that were sent to the FCC. I would love to be able to get copies of these, but I am not sure the FCC keeps those. I may start trying to find old callbooks. Then again maybe not!

Callsign Reserach? NOTHING comes even close! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Enlisted Pete's services. I wanted a post a tribute to My silent key brother (K6OPY) here on the friends remembered page.
I knew his call... but we went very far back as Peter studied in the USA in 1944 under the "GI Bill of Rights" and was licensed shortly after. Pete The Greek (as he is affectionately known,) did a massive amount of research for me for next to nothing money wise. Result? Right here on "Friends Remembered" I was able to pay tribute to my silent key brother, K6OPY.
Pete's service cannot be recommended highly enough, trust me... nothing comes even close !
Pete, if you ever read this, I am more grateful to you than words can express.

GREAT service Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
April 2022. Pete did a LOT of work researching the original owner of my call. I got it almost 20 years ago as a vanity application. Prior to that it was issued in 1938 to its only other owner. Took a lot of time to uncover that length of history trail. He also had a QSL card in his files from the original call's owner which he made available to me. His history of my call and the card will be a special part of my archives. He's a fine ham and a great service. Pete is an "old time ham" in the finest tradition. He offers a service that helps connect us to the past so we can remember and re-enjoy the fun we had in years gone by. How great is that in todays high tech - high intensity life?

He provided info I don't know of any other source for in a day and was a fun guy to deal with.

I'm going to make a contribution to help him offf set his costs and would urge others to do so also. A few bucks; old callbooks; whatever you can send him helps keep his service there for us.

Fast and Courtesy Squared Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Pete supplied me with a Fall 1967 callbook so I could verify some old calls and addresses from "back in the day". It was shipped in a container that was wrapped with such care and attention to detail. This is a business for Pete that is sacred - its just awesome.

Thanks again Pete - 73 TU

Great Research Help Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Pete provided research on our local University Club Call. Lots of detail, including 3 different unknown call signs used by our club in the early days. Many QSLs cards shared as well. Very thankful to have Pete's efforts on this!

Incredible research and data updates! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
UPDATE 04/03/2022:
I asked Pete for complete callsign historical information for me, my Uncle who is a Silent Key, and 3 close friends. Between the 5 of us, we have held 14 different calls going back to 1968! Pete provided me with a detailed chronology including the calls, dates of issue and license class. It was nice to see full information, and my friends were surprised that complete data was still available. I would wholeheartedly recommend Pete for any callsign research! THANK YOU PETE! 73, Tad, K3TD

I had used Pete's services before with great results and had an unusual request for him - helping me find the ham I had my first QSO with in 1972. After several moves I had lost my early log books and couldn't remember the callsign of the person I worked when I was first licensed. The contact sticks in my mind not only because it was my first, but also because it was via Sporadic E-Skip on 6 meters. I remember telling Ed Lipps, W3BWU, about my first QSO shortly after it happened. Ed worked at Tydings Electronics in Pittsburgh and was one of my Elbers, and he explained E-skip to me and I remember Ed telling me he had missed that E-skip opening because it happened in late August.

Pete did a search for all hams licensed in Iron River, MI during the summer of 1972 and sent me a list. After 40 years most of the licenses have lapsed so I may never find out for sure who I had my first QSO with, but I have reached out to everyone still active with their original or new calls and hope to at least find out who was active on 6 meter AM back then. That list is probably fairly small.

Thanks again Pete - 73!

I asked Pete to research my call, and my best friend's call - W3TD. I was pretty sure I was the original holder of K3TD (which Pete confirmed), and knew a little about one of the previous holders of W3TD, but I am AMAZED at the quality and depth of research Pete was able to perform to document all 3 previous holders of W3TD in quite some detail. I am thrilled with the service, and the fee is very reasonable for the hours spent and documentation provided. Well done Pete!
