Outstanding Service for the Amateur Community Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
What can I say that has not already been said.
Pete performs an outstanding service for the amateur community and responds almost instantly.

I had forgotten my Elmer’s call sign who gave me my Novice test in his kitchen. Plus I was mistaken about the year I was first licensed.
Pete solved the mystery.
I received a Certified Copy from the 1969 call book listing my novice call, Pete researched and found my Elmer’s call sign, plus I received a vintage 1925 QSL Card for 5DW with documentation stating that 5DW is positively the precursor to “W”5DW, before the Department Of Commerce instructed Continental US Amateurs to employ the “W” prefix starting October 1st 1928.

Now that is some history! that I proudly display in my shack.
Satisfaction Guaranteed. I highly recommend Pete’s services.

Top Notch Service Time Owned: N.A.
Pete's service is "Top Notch" and fast. He found my novice call and in addition he had a vintage QSL card with my current call sign (W6WF). QSO dated back to Nov 1930.

Great resource! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I found out about Pete here on eHam. I received my novice license in 1979, but school, family and career took over shortly thereafter and I only got on the air a few times.

I recently got back into ham and got my general, but had always been curious if my old call sign had ever made it into the callsign books (and I wasn't sure if I remembered it correctly). Yup! Pete found it right off the bat. Thanks Pete!

Outstanding Service! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I met Pete Varounis (NL7XM) at the recent Dayton 2018 "Hamvention".

I'd been trying to research my Novice call sign and the approximate month and year I received my original license on and off for a number of years. I could not remember my original call sign or the year when I first received it. Only the general time frame in the early 1970's. Neither the FCC nor the ARRL had any records of it.

I'm very adept at performing online research, but for some reason this one eluded me.

I gave Pete what little information I could recall and in a few days he came back with my original call sign (WN6FWW), the month in 1970 when I received it, along with my old home address.

I can now state with impunity that I've been a continuously licensed ham for over 48 years. I have Pete to thank (and the cobwebs on my old dusty bones to prove it.)

I cannot recommend Pete highly enough.

Unbelievable good service Time Owned: more than 12 months.
Time for me to write Pete a new review, it having been some years since last using his services. I just queried him again with a question, having not used his service in quite some time. His callsign research is still absolutely premium, quick, and accurate. No charge for his services but I suggest a small donation would be ethical to help him continue his excellent work.

Call sign recovery Time Owned: N.A.
Simply outstanding! The FCC told me they did not have records that far back and could not confirm when I was originally licensed. I gave up until I found Peter who did a bit of research and not only found my my Novice license date but my original call sign which Ihad been issued to me. This was more than I expected and documented that I was licensed three years earlier than I had recorded. Results were astonishing and quick. Thanks Peter for helping me put my ham history in order. I am extremely thankful for your efforts and would highly recommend you to anyone with similar issues such as mine. Many thanks Peter! Bob

Novice Ticket Research Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
From WB2FSL:
I have been off the air for 19 years the FCC and the ARRL were not able to find out the year I was first granted Novice privileges as WN2FSL

Pete was able, from his call book library, to verify that I was first licensed in 1968. His assistance did nit stop there. Pete was kind enough to sponsor me as a member of the QCWA and verification as a 50 Year Ham.

Pete 'The Greek' Varounis, provides an essential service to the Amateur Society

A Must Have Service For Lost Call Sign Paperwork Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After deciding it was time to get back in, I wanted to take advantage of my pre-1987 Technician License to secure an upgrade to General once I passed the current Technician test. Then it would be on to my Extra BUT what do you do if you no longer have the paperwork to back up your previous license ? Tried for awhile on my own to come up with the paperwork without success then heard about NL7XM callsign Research. Pete NL7XM to the rescue ! Within a couple of days he had a certified copy of my previous callsign on the way and at a ridiculously low cost (just covers his expenses). Even better, from the time I got the paperwork until I passed my Technician test, Pete was there offering support. So coming back in after 30 years with some trepidation and with Pete's help getting past that, I am looking forward to finding out what has changed and looking to make many new friends along the way. Plus starting work on my Extra ! Don KM6TRZ
