Great unit			Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
very nice L/C meter, bargain price. Mine had a display that was hard to read. I added a contrast adjustment pot. 100k between display pin 1&2 with the wiper to pin 3. set it to about 9k worked fine.

Just like the previous comment, this device is already assembled and inexpensive. I have built a couple of QRP transceivers and, of course, winding toroids and testing and adjusting them with this meter is a charm. Toroids play a critical part of the output, I must say winding 15 turns gives you ball park this meter lets you build with accuracy.

Better than the Wouxun!!!			Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
No, it's not a Wouxun! But the craftmanship is outstanding just as the one by the Wouxun radios. It's not a radio, it's an instrument, an LC meter, a high precision one. The only things in common with Wouxun are three. First, both are made in China. Second, they are of outstanding quality. Third, the price is not just a competitive one. In fact it is a democratic one! A huge sum of about 37USD for such a great tool. It measures even very small inductors and very big ones. It draws DC voltage from a USB port or from another source. Just a clever design. It's not a kit. It's a finished product! I had made years ago a LC meter kit. This unit was as good as the one I built, probably this is better. Surely I prefer this one! Buy it or steal it for 36.50USD!!
