Impressed Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
Bought this from a Hong Kong shop first, Shipping was very very slow took a month to get. Placed this antenna on my BaoFeng UV-5R and was immediately impressed. I work 43 miles from the repeater in the town I live I'm able with the rubber duck stock antenna to talk about 6 miles out of town 8 from the repeater when mobile, Put this antenna on and I was talking 43 miles into the repeater and the feedback I received was a clear strong signal. The gentleman I was talking to could not believe one the location I was in as it's mountainous, and two that I was on an HT.

Best 2Meter antenna Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I have dozen's of HT antenna, the Surcom SC951 is THE BEST on 2meter, it does'nt like 440mhz or lower, although it does work well above 445mhz, clear up to 462-467mhz-gmrs freq's. I f you want a great 2meter antenna, this is the one!!! also only a little over $12.00us.delivered. www.409shop.com This antenna is available in BNC,SMA male, SMA female. You Will be impressed!

Only works on 2m ! Time Owned: 3 to 6 months.
I've given it one point, because it's works quite
well on 2m. But on 70cm it's next to useless and
on 23cm it's a rubber dummy load ! Hardly ANY
energy gets out of it.

It's like the antenna has a very good low pass
filter in it above 146Mhz ;-)

My friend also purchased one because like me
he has numerous handhelds and we also operate
23cm. His results where the same as mine.

To me it's just a 2m whip that has been
mislabeled as a multiband antenna. Even the label
on the base of the antenna is just stuck on and
peels off after 10 minutes.
