Great price. Great meter! Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I bought this meter 5 years ago and not a single complaint. I've had worse luck with Diawa and Diamond meters that were double the price. That said, it is what it is a less expensive Chinese SWR/Watt meter. I knew it wasn't a highly calibrated scientific test instrument when I ordered it. It tells me what I need to know and has yet to fail, so I would certainly recommend it to anyone.

I purchased a JTWVU SWR & Power Meter used, and would like to find a manual for it. I've tried extensive searches online and can't locate one. Does anyone know of a website that has the manual as a download?

Monday Morning Meter? Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I ordered my JETSTREAM JTWVU meter based upon the great reviews posted here on eham. When it arrived, I hooked it to my VHF transmitter and immediately notice that the wattage was well below what my Bird and Diawa meter showed. I noticed that the switch on the rear of the meter (to change from 200 W to 400 W) had no effect. I opened the meter and confirmed the switch was not working. Since I wasn't going to use the 400 Watt scale, I bypassed this and was left with a 200 W meter. It seemed fairly accurate now.
The meter sat for about 3 weeks until I use it to tune a new antenna for my VHF repeater. I noticed erratic meter fluctuations. Fearing something wrong with the new antenna, I checked all connections and tried the Bird meter. It was the meter, not the antenna (thank God).
I opened the meter to find several questionable solder connections. After re-flowing the solder connections, the meter is again working properly.
Previous to repairing the meter (the first time), I spoke to the supplier who referred me back to Jetstream for any returns. In their defense, they were polite, and agreed to repair the meter under warranty (since it was only a week old). Naturally, I would have had to pay shipping charges.
Quality control issues seem a routine part of buying equipment from another manufacturer who I will not mention (Hint: 3 letters) but expected better from Jetstream.
To be fair, my meter seems more the exception rather than the rule as evidenced by the other reviews here, but having to bring a piece of new test equipment to the bench for repair doesn't inspire a great deal of confidence.

Surprisingly Accurate Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I bought this meter as an extra that I could take with me when doing antenna work or repairs on the road. I have Bird and Coaxial Dynamics meters but they are used mainly on the bench at home. Given the low cost of this meter, I was expecting it to be only modestly accurate. I was surprised that it is fairly close to my more expensive meters across its fairly broad range. While I would not use it for highly critical measurements, it is more than adequate for most amateur uses. For the price, you can't beat it. We'll see how it holds up over time.

WORKS GREAT FOR ME Time Owned: more than 12 months.
I was a little leery when I first bought this meter. But I am on a fixed income being retired I could not beat the price. So I gave it a try. It works great for me. The construction is very good. Very solid. It looks like a Comet/NGC meter. It is very easy to use. For what I use it for it seemed to be accurate enough. I have just used it to check simple SWR/RF out put on my 2M/1 1/4M and 70CM radios. It worked good enough. I know it is made in China, but so are the Yaesu HTs now. You will not go wrong with this one. If you are on a budget and cannot afford a Bird meter, this meter will work just fine for you. Thanks in advance. 73, Stu de W8STU
