not ready for primetime on a 7700 Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
After simply trying to get the computer talk to the radio via the control panel I can say that's it's not working for me so far with the Icom 7700. I invested on a new serial card but still the same results. "Can't connect to Radio" error. I took pictures of the radio setting and the computer setting to see if Icom could see where I may be going wrong but Icom reponds with one sentence usually in a form of a question. If they bothered to read the email they would see that the question was already answered. Anyway, I now believe this software is a major pain on an Icom 7700 using the RS-232. I guess I'll wait for a patch to come out. The software is not ready for primetime yet.

Save Your Money! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased this software from HRO so that I could control my Icom 7000 from outside of my shack - especially when I'm traveling or at the office.

After configuring the software, it does deliver what it promises (remote control ability), but ... it has a nasty habit of freezing up - and not resetting itself. As of this post, I am still trying to identify the reason for the freezing - ie.... a drop in the Internet connection, a conflicting resource, etc.

As an alternative, I installed Ham Radio Deluxe along with Skype. This combination of the two are working flawlessly.

All comms are routed through a Signalink USB with the SIX (6-pin) pin cable.

Do not waste your money on the 13-pin cable for the 7000. Go with the 6-pin.

My hope is that Icom would release an update to this software for two reasons .... one it cost a fair bit at $100, and two ... it really appears to be a great product, but it needs some enhancements.
