It works very well. Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have used dipoles, OCFs, verticals and random length wires. The QSO King is one of the best wires I have used. It runs up the TV antenna tower 24 feet and then goes out to a pine tree about 130 feet away and then roped through a branch at 40 feet.

With 100 watts I have worked England on 160. I have worked Europe on 80, and the whole rest of the world (except Antarctica) on 30 through 10 with 75 watts. On DX the signal levels are very close (plus or minus) to my GAP vertical. I have worked a friend 62 miles east of here over several years on Saturdays and he reports my signal is at least a full S-unit stronger there. He is stronger here also.

I just finished a QSO with MI on 30 Meters with a QRP HB-1A at five watts. We gave each other 599s. He was running 20 watts. I had to turn my attenuator on to copy his 20/9 signal more comfortably.

My antenna box is grounded. It isn't supposed to make a difference but I have been a ham 53 years and I can't imagine doing it any other way.

My advice: get one. 73.

Very Good Antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have the 124' QSO-King set-up as a flat-top or Zepp at about 25' and this antenna works very well. I use it primarily on 20,60,80, and 160 meters and have gotten great signal reports from my northern New York QTH. I also run it in conjunction with an Ameritron AL-811 amplifier and LGD AT-600PRO automatic tuner for seamless operation throughout the bands. If you're considering an end-fed multi-band wire antenna, this is definitely the way to go.

Works as Advertised ! Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
This antenna is to be used to support RACES HF communications. We wanted something simple that would offer 'all band' coverage. We purchased the 124ft version. Today we attached the antenna feed-point to a tower leg at 14ft AGL and the other end at 4ft AGL, to test it before we install it on the EOC roof at 210ft AGL.

The antenna was easily matched by the Kenwood TS-480, internal coupler, on all bands w/1.1:1SWR;
can't beat that...

The antenna was compared to mono-band dipoles, NVIS Jamaca antennas, and 3E yagi antennas. It compared well to the the dipoles that were installed at 50ft. Equal or better than the NVIS antennas and as expected a bit down from the yagi antennas. Most noticable was how quiet the antenna was with regard to signal to noise.

Its a surprising performer with a good price.

Great for stealth operation Time Owned: 6 to 12 months.
I have the 72' version and it performs quite well in an inverted V at 32'. It is nearly impossible to see, and easily deployed. A nice compromise antenna for the deed-restricted operator.

Very good Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I have the 6 to 80 meter version at 36 feet. It works on all bands I've tried. I don't have a 6 meter radio to use currently. It works fantastic on 17 meters and 80 meters. I routinely talk to Europe (from Florida) on 17 meters with almost always 5/9 reports. Yes, it is a compromise and it has to be judged as so. When you need a wire for a deed resricted community or a small space, this antenna is a winner.

Great portable antenna Time Owned: 0 to 3 months.
I purchased the 88-foot version. I replaced a Cobra Jr., that had all that twin-lead. This antenna works as well or better than the Cobra and is so much easier to handle. I have it installe as an inverted-L, with 35 feet vertical with the balun 8 feet off the ground. No ground or radial wires attached. Worked Antarctica and Slovenia on 30m CW with 579 report from Oregon. Tunes great with autotuner, 160-6 meters. Excellent construction and customer support. This is a great portable antenna for RV'ers, etc.
